Definition of "Geometric" configuration for VDI in SPEC SFS2014

Dear Sir/Madam:
I am user of SPEC Storage 2014 SP1. (SPEC SFS2014 SP1)
In your User’s Guide, on page 25, for VDI Miscellaneous Options, there is an item called “Geometric” of value 90%.
What is the definition of this Geometric here?
Could you please help provide me an explanation on this one?
